I am a registered psychologist who has always had a great passion in supporting people reach their full potential. I integrate Ancient philosophy into Western Counselling context to foster self-growth. My work experience includes depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting, anger management, grief and loss, life transition, and so forth. I have experience working with children and youth, adults, couples, and families who come from diverse cultural and ethnic groups. I believe that counselling is a great way for people to gain new insights into their past experiences and challenges that they have encountered.

I strive to cultivate a counselling space that feels welcome for individuals from all gender identities, races, cultural background, sexual orientations, socioeconomic status, and levels of ability. I use EMDR, mindfulness-based approach, body-oriented approach, polyvagal informed therapy, and IFS informed therapy.

My role is to walk alongside with my client and allow them to see their strengths and resources that might have been previously overlooked. I utilize a variety of therapeutic methodologies, creating and implementing counselling treatment plans fitting into each client’s unique needs. I offer a 45-minutes complimentary consultation for new clients.

I’m Jing and I’m so happy you came to visit. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine before moving to Canada from China. Here I continued to pursue my passion for helping people by completing psychology undergraduate courses, as well as certification in children’s mental health. From there, I went on to complete a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) Degree from Yorkville University.

My work experience includes depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting, anger management, grief and loss, self-esteem, life transitions, immigration-related struggles and so forth. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who come from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
